Haddad and Nadhouri Discuss Enhancing Security Cooperation with AFRICOM Leaders at Botswana Conference

On Wednesday, Chief of Staff of Tripoli, Mohamed al-Haddad, and Chief of Staff of Benghazi, Abdulrazzaq al-Nadhouri, discussed enhancing joint cooperation to address security and stability challenges with U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Brown, and Commander of the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), General Michael Langley.

This meeting took place during the participation of al-Haddad, al-Nadhouri, and their accompanying delegation in the Conference of African Defense Ministers and Chiefs of Staff, organized by AFRICOM, held in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana.

The conference focused on achieving security and stability, mechanisms for resource protection, addressing pressing security challenges in Africa, information exchange, and promoting partnerships and cooperation concerning shared security threats and challenges.
