The Libyan Football Federation has announced that the match between Al-Akhdar and Al-Hilal will be replayed next Friday at the Sports City Stadium in Sirte. This decision follows a recent ruling by FIFA to revert to the Competition Organizing Committee’s original decision.
A federation source informed Fawasel on Monday that the Bashir Judeh Stadium in Al-Marj was excluded as a venue due to ongoing maintenance and development work. The source also mentioned the possibility of appointing foreign referees to oversee the crucial match, which will determine qualification for the Hexagonal Stage of the Premier League. This stage is scheduled to commence on July 1st in Italy.
