ICESCO and Libyan Ministry of Education Launch Initiative to Integrate AI in Education
The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) announced on Tuesday the launch of an initiative in collaboration with the Libyan Ministry of Education to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into Libya’s educational system. This initiative supports efforts to modernize education and keep pace with the digital transformation in the educational sector.
According to ICESCO’s statement, the National AI Policy in Libya serves as a roadmap for adopting AI, aiming to enhance its use in vital sectors. To ensure the successful launch of the initiative, ICESCO’s Center for Strategic Foresight and Artificial Intelligence held a training session in strategic foresight for officials and employees of the Ministry of Education, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills.
The launch also includes the development of a system for integrating AI into the educational process, involving several international experts in the field as part of the National AI Policy program.
