The Italian engineering and construction services company Rosetti Marino has been awarded a €400 million contract for an offshore infrastructure project in Libya by Mellitah Oil & Gas.

The contract includes engineering, procurement, and load-out activities for the delivery of a 6,000-ton EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) production platform top side, which will be installed off the Mediterranean coast, according to Energy Capital.

The project is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2027. Last November, Rosetti Marino secured another $300 million contract for an offshore project in Libya from the oilfield services company Saipem, according to the same source.
