Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbeibeh of the Government of National Unity, alongside Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, inaugurated the Second Regional Review Conference on the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration in the Arab Region.
During his speech, Dbeibeh reiterated Libya’s cautious approach towards the UN Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2018. He emphasized his government’s commitment to reducing illegal migration and collaborating with regional and European nations to develop a coordinated strategy on this critical issue.
